As Global Brand President of Spark Foundry, Chris Boothe is dedicated to scaling the agency’s unique brand proposition across 60 global offices in 50 countries. Chris also continues to serve as a steadfast leader for our team in the U.S. as CEO of Spark Foundry USA. In these roles, Chris is propelling the agency, its clients and talent towards a successful future.
Throughout his career, Chris’s creativity and brand building know-how have generated exceptional results for the agency and its clients. His leadership has helped usher in a new, unique identity for Spark Foundry that harnesses a startup spirit and powerhouse soul, with a mission of bringing heat to brands – a heat that melds data and creativity, precision and scale, digital and traditional media – to drive higher engagement, affinity, and transactions
Chris’s excellent leadership has received significant recognition throughout the advertising industry and beyond. In 2013, he was named Adweek’s Media Executive of the Year, and the agency netted a ranking on AdAge’s Agency to Watch List. The firm was also recognized as Small Agency of the Year by Media Magazine, and was named runner up in AdAge’s 2014 Media Agency of the Year Awards. He also received the prestigious Chicago Advertising Federation’s highest honor, the Silver Medal, in 2016.
Throughout his extensive career, Chris has worked across a variety of advertising focus areas that include strategy, investment, international business, business development, global product, and agency operations. Previously, he was President/Chief Operating Officer of Starcom USA, where he was responsible for managing agency operations, as well as day-to-day leadership of the company’s business development activities, which included pursuing new client partnerships and adding new dimensions to existing ones.
Aside from his busy media endeavors, Chris lends his time and efforts in support of aspiring industry professionals and those less fortunate. A graduate of Miami University, he contributes regularly to the university’s advertising classes, and serves on the board of directors for the Off the Street Club in Chicago. He also enjoys personal hobbies that include home decorating, rooting for the Chicago sports teams, and finding new wines.
