Fivetran Partners With Givsly to Support Purpose-Led, Ethical Marketing
In Six Weeks the Partnership Has Saved $10,000 In Shipping Costs By Cutting Promotional Swag Waste and Enabling Prospects to Donate to Nonprofits
NEW YORK — September 14th, 2023 – Givsly, the purpose-led advertising and marketing company, today announced its partnership with Fivetran, a global leader in automated data movement, to reduce promotional swag waste across the events that Fivetran sponsors.
The swag industry is worth $64 billion, but only 21% of gifted swag is kept, resulting in a low return for companies and around $50.5 billion in waste. With Givsly, event attendees have the opportunity to share their information, select a non-profit organization (NPO) and Fivetran will make a donation on their behalf. The information can then be easily uploaded into Salesforce for the team to leverage.
A key challenge for adopting more climate-friendly practices for nearly one-third of marketers is the organizational misperception that sustainability is costly. The partnership has already positively driven impact and bolstered top line revenue. Fivetran participates in an average of 250-300 events annually in North America. In a period of just six weeks, Fivetran donated over 250 meals to World Central Kitchen, helped nearly 200 malnourished children through Action Against Hunger and more. Additionally, more than $10,000 was saved in shipping costs alone in the same period.
